HOW TO PREPARE FOR A FACIAL
When you get to your Spa Stinny Massage, you’ll fill out your personalized form to indicate skin care needs, goals, and your history of services. This step is important, so it’s best to arrive 15 minutes early to give yourself enough time to focus on you.
LET’S GET TO KNOW YOU
Getting to know you is the most important step. You’ll meet with your esthetician to talk about your personalized form and address specific skin concerns you’d like to focus on. Communication with your esthetician at this step is key to achieving desired results.
REVIEW SERVICE OPTIONS & GET COMFORTABLE
Your esthetician will review the steps of your skin care session and specific product options. Spy Stinny offers only the best-in-class products for Customized Facials like Obagi® and Jan Marini Skin Research®. Once you confirm your options, you’ll get tucked into covers to begin. To fully experience the benefits of your Customized Facial, you’ll be asked to disrobe to your comfort level – usually from the waist up.
YOUR SKIN CARE EXPERIENCE
Your Customized Facial starts with a cleanse/steam treatment, skin analysis, customized exfoliation mask, and extractions (as needed). Your session will conclude with a customized treatment mask and finishing treatment. A 90-minute session includes the same steps as the 60-minute session, but with more time and attention spent at each stage of the facial process.
Cleanse / steam
Removes makeup, dirt, and debris from the surface of the skin. Cleansing with steam helps to soften and prep the skin for the rest of the facial.
Customized exfoliation mask
Each facial provides different levels of exfoliation depending on what the skin needs. Exfoliation plays a key part in helping the skin stay healthy and achieving a youthful glow.
Esthetician skin analysis
Your esthetician analyzes the skin to determine skin type, skin conditions, review concerns, and suggest the best service plan for the facial and home care products.
Extractions (if needed)
Extractions are included with every facial if necessary and can help clear clogged or impacted pores.
Customized treatment mask
This customized mask helps to address specific skin concerns and can help the skin appear more soothed, brighter, and balanced. And you’ll be getting a neck and shoulder massage — not bad right?
Finishing treatment
This includes applying a serum, eye product, moisturizer, SPF, and lip balm to keep your skin feeling protected when you leave.
WHAT TO DO AFTER A FACIAL
After your session your esthetician will wait outside the room while you dress. Then you'll discuss your aftercare product options to help prolong the effects of your Customized Facial.

Your skin care doesn’t end when your Customized Facial ends. There are steps you can take between sessions to maintain your glow, such as hydrating and exfoliating skin.
